Wire forms are the collective name for all our wire clips, retaining springs, contact springs, and more. This makes them ideal for a wide range of applications, from suspension systems to industrial machinery.
Unlike a spring, a wire form is primarily a functional structure: intended for connection, guidance, fastening or securing, and not designed to provide continuous spring force. Depending on the desired properties, a slight spring action can be added through heat treatment, but this is an exception rather than a standard feature.
Thanks to the flexibility in design and production, our wire forms can be manufactured in various sizes and configurations, ensuring they meet your technical requirements exactly. Looking for a solution that does need to provide continuous spring force? Then take a look at our compression springs or torsion springs.
Wire forms and clips: Simple to complex wire forms shapes for fastening, mounting or guiding. Used in suspension systems, cable management and mechanical engineering.
Retaining springs: Wire constructions that mechanically secure components and prevent unwanted movement, widely used in assemblies and machine parts.
Contact springs: Wire forms with electrical conductivity, often made from phosphor bronze, for use in electronic applications and switch contacts.
Cable guides: Shapes that hold cables and pipes in the correct position or protect them against wear and damage.
In the medical sector, our wire forms provide precision and durability for applications such as wheelchairs and medical equipment, where safety and long service life are critical. In the agricultural sector, they ensure reliable connections in milking robots and agricultural machinery, even under harsh operating conditions.
In the construction sector, wire forms deliver strong and flexible solutions for connecting and supporting structures, contributing to stability and efficiency. With custom manufacturing in high-quality materials such as stainless steel, spring steel, and aluminium, and the ability to create complex shapes, our wire forms offer reliable performance, fast and tailored to your requirements.
Wire forms are found in countless mechanical connections: from wire brackets and retaining rings to complex contact springs and cable guides. We manufacture 2D and 3D wire forms in wire diameters ranging from 0.10 to 20 mm, fully customized for applications where precision and reliability are critical. Our processes are ISO 9001 certified.
With our machinery in Haaksbergen, we produce virtually any desired geometry, from simple hooks and clips to complex multi-bend 3D shapes:
Finishing & Specialization: Based on the usage requirements and desired lifespan, we recommend the appropriate post-treatment.
The lifespan and mechanical performance of a wire form directly depend on the material selection and environmental requirements. We work with the following materials, tailored for corrosion resistance, hygiene, or mechanical stress:
